I can't help specificallt for the dtp-41, but I'll trade ya my old i1 for it and then you have this solved... You know, I went to great effort to make preview profiles for every PTone StudioPrint ink setup I have here, warm, Selenium, splits, blends, the whole dealy-bob, thinking I'm supplying a helpful tool for my clients to use for file prep. No one, not one, that I can recall since I started Custom Digital, has requested one, and when I've suggested it, never used one. Your StudioPrint output is probably meticulously and beautifully linearized, and no doubt matches your working space on the monitor just fine given the ability to target a given dot gain "out". Soft proof icc based is just not necessary. Just in case, if you do proceed, make sure they check "preserve color numbers" since you won't be printing with the profile.
