I've used the 2400 with a PC for a few years. In general, to use most papers, they are fed in the front feed and in "source" you indicate "sheet". The only paper I have used that requires the rear feeder is Velvet Fine Art which changes the setting to "manual roll", even though its a sheet. This is definitely counterintuitive. If you want to feed a heavy sheet through the front roller, you can override the program by hitting "ignore" when it says to use "manual roll". Don't blame me, I'm just a user.
