I recently got a quote from a local computer shop for a purpose-built desktop box (I'll keep keyboard and monitor, plus all external drives and probably will also move one of my internal drives which contains most of my images from current to new machine.) They were able to provide a new box with XP installed - no Vista/downgrade process, just a new XP operating system from the get go. This is a local operation, not a national chain or franchise.
