Hi Paul,

Mine feeds correctly too but leaves tracks on glossy paper. Also, if I use matte paper with the curve side up, the head will strike the edge of the paper, leaving an ink stain. So much for using two sided paper.

The Epson 1400 is a great printer plus I know of not other 13" printer  with 1.5 picoliter droplet size. 

Could there be a problem with q.c., which may account for different experience with this printer.
