RE: [Digital BW] fine art papers

2002-02-15 by Nij

Hi Piotr,

I'mn afraid I do not use MIS VM, so I can not give you constructive advice
on which papers print well with the basic MIS VM curves. However, if the
recommendations you receive are for any Hahnemuhle papers (or Somerset) I
may well be able to supply them from the UK.

As to my own personal favourite papers with Piezo inks, I like Photo Rag,
William Turner and German Etching (oh, and Torchon).

Piezo BW inks print well on Ultima Satin, but do require a finishing
spray-coat, so I imagine that VM inks would print fairly similarly. You will
need a spray coating, but I don't have any particular recommendation on that
one.

Take a look at the web-site below!

Best wishes,
Nij
