Piotr, I agree with Steadman's choice of papers. I would add some of the Schollershammer papers, such as Velvet and Linen (a good alternative to canvas that takes MIS archival inks). I am using MIS VM-HEX also. I am supprised that you are unable to get Hahnemühle and Schollershammer papers locally since they are both old established German paper manufacturers.
