Re: [Digital BW] 1400 nightmares

2009-09-13 by Eddie Wiseman

I HAVE 2 1400's..One is set up with MIS UT-14 toneable B&W pigs with
auto-re-set chips in refillable spongeless carts, and my other is set up
with LYSON Fotonic XG "Claria Clones", Also with their auto-reset chip
"TRIO" refillable carts.
     I've owned 3 1160s, 4 1280's, and these 2 1400's are the BEST 13"
carriage printers I've used BY FAR..I refill my carts individually..I
gave-up on continuous flow systems and "clogs" along time ago....Including
NO-MORE-CARTS, and systems from MIS and others..There all pretty much the
same....I buy my inks in 4 oz bottles of each color, save a bundle, and
"LOOK MA..NO MORE CLOGS!"

James isn't the Cone CIS reset with a small push button switch?
Why are you removing the carts? I don't have a 1400 CIS (just 1900) so I am
extrapolating some what.

Are you using Cone ink and CIS or some other CIS?

More info would be useful.....
