Digital BW, The Print

Hi All

I am seriously contemplating buying a 4880 since there are some great rebates going right now. (850 off)  I am planning to use my own (MIS or HP Paul Roark type) inks, but have some concerns about the third party carts for these machines. Here are my questions.

1.  Are these reliable?  What are the pitfalls?  Known problems???

2.  Are there issues with pulling the cart and resetting the chip?  How many cycles of refilling can I expect to get from these carts.

Recommendations for cartridge vendor would also be much appreciated.  I am inclined to buy from inkjetcarts.us...they seem competitive and are very responsive.  But if there is a better deal...I would like to hear it.
