I'm very happy with my 5d2.  I find, however, that some of the lenses that I thought were rather good are not so good after all.  Getting meduim format quality from a 35 takes really good optics and careful shooting.  I used to think a speed 2 times the focal length was fast enough for hand holding.  Now my standard is 4 times (without IS).

I've taken shots in the heavy mist of waterfalls with no ill effects.  I'm not sure what the Antarctica experience was all about.  I'm hoping it was an early batch problem.
