Tim, I use Cumulus 5.5(the update has just been released from 5.0.1). Its an all-encompassing data management system for almost every digital photographic, video and audio material you can think of at present. It is a bit hard to master at first and as most of the image database programs do, requires a fair amount of data input, especially if you plan to do searches in a large database. The directories can be custom tailored as in the Windows explorer tree and data (records) can be associated with the assets (actual pictures, etc.) The newest version allows for better IPTC support with such programs such as Photoshop 6.0. Also the newer version has a new feature, which is a palette view mode, and if youre on a network improved support for Server data transfer and a slide show function. I have tried a few other programs such as U lead Photoexplorer and this program seems to satisfy my needs particularly when it comes to associated data such as film type, aperture, lens info shutter speed as well as digital record data such as white balance, metering mode etc., It also can accommodate copyright inclusion. It is available on-line @ www.canto.com. Hope this gives you some idea of this fine program [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
