Updates to Adobe Raw Converter (ACR) able to process files from newer dslr are not available to older version of Photoshop.

You can either get PS4 or, and a lot of people are doing this, get Lightroom 2.5 from Adobe with which you'll be able to process RAW files from any dslr and from which you can invoke your copy of Photoshop for any additional image adjustement if need be.
