Digital BW, The Print

My experience with Jon's CIS for the 1400 has been pretty bad, bad enough to make me initially think badly of the printer, which there is probably nothing wrong with, and in fact has gotten rave reviews from some knowledgeable characters here.  I started using CISes with the very first NoMoCarts, with great success.  I was 100% enthusiastic about them, and so it is with a lot of frustration and disappointment that I report that I have had nothing but problems with these two CISes in two 1400s; in fact, I'm going to go to the MIS refill carts as soon as I get enough time away from my other demands.  I have his special ink, too, not yet installed. I was a very early adopter of Piezo back when, and yes, my initial prints could be green, but somehow I managed to also get some quite beautiful, platinum-like prints from those early inks which weren't green.  Don't remember now what it was that turned it around.  So I'm a fan of Jon's products, but these CISes for the 1400 haven't worked out for me.
