While its nearly impossible to remove it all from your skin by washing, at least without chemicals that you probably don't care to use on your skin, it none-the-less fades out in fairly short order. I find that time spent in the hottub accelerates the process. I've often wondered which way its going: out, or in? Like auto mechanics (who suffer the nickname greasemonkeys because of it) those who mess about with printing tend to be easy to distinguish. Those who work on the press floor still use the term "get some ink under their nails"when wishing those without press floor experience would get some. My wife has taken to warning me two or three days in advance when there is social occasion which she deems important enough that she would like me to be ink-free that day. Given the acceptability of tattoos these days (often referred to simply as 'ink') I don't see why the freeform, and sometimes colorful, inking that comes from mucking about with printers should still suffer from such prejudice...
