Tons of bromoil, gum bichromate, and GSP, but then some color Cprints and Cibas scattered in there as well. I saw MAYBE one inkjet in the whole two stories, sadly to say though. These people are too highbrow I would assume, to treat inket seriously, at least from a sales/investor standpoint. (And, after seeing the show, I can't say as I blame them -- with so much mis/dis=information floating about, and Wilhelm nowhere to be found, and with metamerism in the equation with the pigments, the choices are few. I guess you quad guys and Piezo guys would argue with that, but the evidence was on the wall today -- or should I say, NOT on the wall). >> Hi Mark and group: Thanks for the report; it made me rush to the Hilton so that I'd have at least 2 and a half hours to see the show. I was impressed by much of the imagery, and I actually found the words "Epson inkjet" on the wall of one of the galleries! At the same gallery were a few "Iris prints" with the reference to the printer, David Adamson. Funny, I didn't see any other printers credited(I guess all the photographers did their own printing!) I saw about 5 Iris prints(no giclee titles) in my short time there, but no carbon pigments, though I expect them by next year. Toned Silver Gelatin ruled the walls, and Fuji Crystal Archive seems to have a very strong showing for those printing color. Howard Schatz's Cibachromes of underwater dancers(guess the word Ilfochrome doesn't sound expensive enough) were beautiful. There is a similar show(Armory show) at a Pier exhibition space at the end of this month. Here's a link to the info. http://www.thearmoryshow.com/info.htm I don't know what percentage of the work is photography, but I'd bet that a lot of it includes inkjet repros of watercolor and paintings.
