Yes, I use QTR with the 2200 and the Piezography K7 inkset. Worked for me right out of the gate with the built-in K7 profiles. 

I use two papers, both pretty standard choices: Hahnemhule Photo Rag and Epson Fine Art Velvet. particularly like the texture of the latter.

FWIW, I also use QTR on a 3800, with the stock Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks. I use that setup when I need to make a print that's larger than the 2200 can produce. For my needs, QTR produces superb b/w prints on both machines, altho the Piezography/K7 setup is my preferred approach. It's hard to explain, but the look is more refined. Some people say three dimensional, which doesn't make sense until you put two side-by-side. "Deeper" might be another word. 

All subjective, obviously.
