Martin, thanks for your reply. I will have a second look for ink contamination, though this could hardly be the reason, because the problem existed before the ink spilling happened. My Epson olor cart was empty. I then filled the new CIS system properly - when I put them into the printer in their sealed virginity. After that cart changing, the printer went on to read the new CIS color cart empty. As it could be a chip problem, I changed the CIS chips (black against color - as they are identical), during this procedure the ink spilling happened. Even with the changed chips the color cart was red empty by the printerter. Meanwhile Jerry told me that he switched to CIS after one of his Epson carts were empty without problems. So I´m helpless, probably will send the printer to Epson and report on the problem later again. Or are there other suggestions?
