Here are my first thoughts on that subject: I have just printed a white-to-black gradient through QTR using the standard Claria black only. I was pleased to see (through a 4x loupe) no banding at all. So I am inclined to go for Eboni K (for printing Black Only on matte paper) and MIS pigment colour inks (if they sell suitable inks, and if I can work out which ones to order), so that I can continue using the printer for colour printing of CDs and DVDs.
