Paul,

Look at the bottom of the camera raw dialog box.  See what the output settings are you.  You may be overly enlarging the image or it may be too small or the color prefs aren't correct.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
