That said, I'll jump in here. I have 30 years of experience in a darkroom and have a very difficult time relinquishing my printing to someone else. I have also just made the foray into digital. I've been gifted with an R300. Is it worth my while to get a CIS for it and use it as a dedicated BW printer? I have some funds available and could purchase another printer. What do you recommend? I'd like to do this once and I'm not sure where to start. If I won't be able to get professional and museum quality prints from this printer, please give me your opinion. For starters, I have an iMac with apple display, and am purchasing Spyder3 this week to get the monitor in order. I will need QTR to print, looking at that next, as well as sources for the CIS and ink. But even if I have a quite long experience in the dark room, I'm still a newbie in digital printing... --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com , R Craig Blackman <blac1588@...> wrote: > > BTW, there are no stupid question, only stupid answers.
