Ok, I ordered the wrong paper. The link you sent me was for the 200 paper. It is pretty neutral on both sides. The correct side tends to get stuck in the printer. Does this kind of paper normally have a pretty sever curl side to side? But their website describes it as "C2S" which means coated both sides. The two sides don't look any different to me. So I e-mailed Atlex and they said to ignore the sign, that I could print on either side. I usually save my "bad" prints and use it as work paper, printing on the remaining side for tests. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "pr_roark" <roark.paul@...> wrote: > > "Mike Johnston" <wpajohnson@> wrote: > > > > I got some of the Premier paper. > > I am a little confused. > > there is a sign in the package that says print on this side. > > The side indicated is darker than the other side. > > Is that correct? > > That does sound odd. I have some packages that say to print on one side, and they've been correct. I have another package that says nothing. I think the coated side is brighter. I'd use the tongue test to be sure -- the tongue will stick on the coated side (corner), but not the back side. > > Paul > www.PaulRoark.com > ------------------------------------ Please visit the Group Homepage to check the Files, and other resources as they are often being updated. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint If you wish to receive no emails or just a daily digest, or you wish to unsubscribe, please edit your Membership preferences by visiting this same page.
