RE: [Digital BW] Re: EB6 paper recommendations - neutral

2010-03-20 by Mike Johnston

Ok,
I ordered the wrong paper. The link you sent me was for the 200 paper.
It is pretty neutral on both sides.
The correct side tends to get stuck in the printer.
Does this kind of paper normally have a pretty sever curl side to side?

Thanks

Thanks

My packs of Premier Art FineArt 205 have a slip in the package which says
"print this side only". But their website describes it as "C2S" which means
coated both sides. The two sides don't look any different to me. So I
e-mailed Atlex and they said to ignore the sign, that I could print on
either side.

I usually save my "bad" prints and use it as work paper, printing on the
remaining side for tests.

and they've been correct. I have another package that says nothing. I
think the coated side is brighter. I'd use the tongue test to be sure --
the tongue will stick on the coated side (corner), but not the back side.
