Digital BW, The Print

I am running some test prints with my new Epson 3800 (new to me).
I work in B&W but with a heavy brown tone, so lots of red and yellow ink gets used.

All of the tests I have run have a very faint yellow "shadow" beginning at the edge of the image area on the leading and right hand edges of the prints and extending about 1/4 inch in both directions.

The image area itself looks just fine and there is no corresponding lack of color within any of the print borders.

I have tried this with about 10 varieties of paper (as I said, I am running tests) and the same thing happens on all brands and flavors.

Any ideas?
