Re: [Digital BW] New Release of QuadToneRIP 2.7.0 for both Mac and PC

2010-03-29 by John Beeching

Dear Roy,

Thank you for the new version. I have installed and printed with no
problem.

An improvement that I find somewhat irritating is that there appears no way
not to see JPGs. Let me explain: I am sure that my work-flow is not too
unlike that of others, I work on my photos as PSD files and when I am
satisfied with those, I resize, sharpen and save as TIFs for printing. I
also also save a small JPG version for the web or whatever. Naturally I
don't want to print the latter. But now I see both the TIFs and JPGs via
the GUI, which is confusing and I may have to work my way through quite a
few files (2x) until I come to the one I want to print. Any way round this?

Yours,

John
