Tim, 

If it's like Illustrator, it will require at least system 9.2 to run.
Note, not system 9, but Nine point TWO.

After working with system 10 for about 2 months, I hate it more than any
other operating system I've ever used. Thank God Illustrator 10 will run
on 9.2! Sure hope that Photoshop 7 does.
