OSX and Photoshop

At the risk of revisiting an old topic, does anyone know if the conflicts between the Photoshop CS3 and CS4 and Snow Leopard (OSX) have been resolved?

Mark,

When OSX was first introduced there were relatively widespread complaints of PS3 and I think 4 crashing as well as difficulties with the ABW driver if I remember correctly.

The CS4 printing with no color management issue is still very much alive (for an Epson 11880 on OSX 10.5.8 anyway), and that in turn tied into the ABW problem. Even after spending hours emailing Eric Chan at Adobe, and sending him samples, I was still forced to go back to CS3. Prints like a charm now. Never had crashing issues with either version.

CS4 and Snow Leopard runs fine for me with an Epson R2400 and Stylus Pro 3800 printers, color & ABW work fine. Were you possibly thinking about the print driver issue? With OS X Rosetta installed, download drivers from Epson. Not all drivers are on the Snow Leopard instal disk and the Gutenprint driver is garbage for photo printing.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
