That is a good sign. In my PDF on Eboni-6, I recommend people start with the

In fact, I'm not sure there are any Eboni-6 QTR profiles in my profiles Zip
file. I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that those who use the rip knew how to
make their own profiles.
The Epson driver with ICCs made with QTR's "Create ICC-RGB" makes an excellent
workflow for Eboni-6 in the 1400.

I suspect you're using a profile that was not intended for Eboni-6. Be sure
the profile name says "Eb6" or "Eboni-6" in the name of the profile.
Again, start with the Epson driver workflows, including the ICCs that have Eb6
in the names.
