Mike, I had the same problem with the tubing catching under the printhead on
my 1280. I had the acrylic arm as far to the right as possible and it wasn't
sagging and I still had the problem. I finally solved it by taped a 1\ufffd"
piece of 5/8" wooden dowel horizontally to the left side of the black cart.
The dowel extended above
the top left corner of the cart just a little and held the tubing up just
enough to prevent any further problems. I used a single piece of good
quality tape, running it from the top of the cart, over the dowel and down
the side of the cart. It worked just fine like this for several months.

Interestingly, I haven't had this problem with my new CIS in the same
printer and haven't had to install the dowel since replacing the older CIS.

first set of cartridges still over half full but could not get it to print after
multiple cleanings so put in a new set -- same thing -- seem to remember making
the catridges go off where they rest and putting a cloth with windex there --
any help would be greatly appreciated as i need to print my artist's business
card -- and at 72 i am getting lower on time :-)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
