WorkForce 60

2011-09-28 by Paul

Has anyone used any empty third party carts for the Epson WorkForce 60? With its WiFi, 2 pl drop, and duplex printing, I'm thinking of it as the next step for the Epson-Noritsu dyes.

(Knock out glossy cards from a smart phone sound like a nice idea, not to mention easy duplexed books.)

Paul,

Be aware that reliable duplex printing is related to specific low paper
weights. Sometimes mentioned in the printer's specs but often not. Speed
is also compromised as the drying time used between both sides is quite
long. For longer runs there is more speed in single sided printing and
the next run on the other side. On the other hand with more different
pages after another and a short run dual-sided can be handy. I have a
bit more experience with HP Officejets but I think that is a general rule.
