OT: is there a better Vuescan group on Yahoo?

OT: is there a better Vuescan group on Yahoo?

2012-02-09 by Paul

Greetings fellow members.

I did a search on Yahoo, and found this group:

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Digitalscan/messages

But it's only got about 36 members and most of the messages lately are for sex partners and such... very little on Vuescan. Weird!

Looks to me like this group go hijacked. Maybe I should just e-mail Ed directly, I hear he's pretty helpful.

TIA,

Paul

Paul, the Nikon Coolscan 8000/9000 group has quite a few Vue Scan users of
which I am one. Least I knock on wood, we have not gotten such searches on
the cool scan group. Wet mounting aside ; )

Thanks, Eric, I didn't think of doing a search on "Coolscan", that's what I have. But mine is the older LS2000 and it's only for 35mm. Think this group would be a good "fit" for me? It seems focused on newer Coolscans and on medium format film. I told the moderator this and am now waiting approval for membership.

But then Vuescan is Vuescan. We shall see! Thanks again for that tip,

Paujl

There is a Viewscan group on Flickr. There a couple of knowledgable users there. Worth a post.
