"QuadtoneRip Front End has stopped working"

"QuadtoneRip Front End has stopped working"

2012-03-14 by Richard Smallfield

Hi BW people,
I have Googled about this QTR problem and posted a query to the QTR
mailing list but nothing has worked, so I'm trying here.

When I load an image into QTR 2.7, I get the message: "QuadtoneRip
Front End has stopped working". (I'm using Vista Home Premium and an
Epson 3800.)

I've reinstalled QTR and restarted my PC to no avail.

If anyone has any ideas, short of formatting my C: drive (which will
be my next step), I'd appreciate their input.

Thanks,
Richard

Download and install Revo Uninstaller demo. The bottom option box
should be checked which does a deep uninstall. Look for the QTR icon on
that page and click it to remove it. At each step that Revo stops
at,use the delete all option.

It does a restore point first, so you are safe. That will remove all
registry references and any hangover files.

Reboot and reinstall QTR.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
