Digital BW, The Print

I was doing purge test with 

mis clear base. Then suddenly there was the general error. 

Next, I turned it off and now its dead.

It happen last week I let it sit overnight and it was ok.

I sent to Epson previously for the exact problem and they could not find the a solution saying it is working fine. 

I notice that the base (the area where the paper feed into the oncoming print head) inside the machine is damp. 

Any ideas?
