Re:Traveling Light with camera gear

This company www.cliklite.com makes a wide variety of packpack and other camera case options and the prices seem to be in line with high end backpacks. While I am not interested in a camera case / backpack I already have one that I never use I will be doing some 2 and 3 day backpack trips next year and am looking at methods of protecting my camera. With an upcoming trip to Utah and the canyons I have been looking a lot on line and finally found this case the Clikelite Access it is $62 and while for a camera it could hold a second lens below the camera and lens. There are several sizes of this case if more space is needed. If anyone has carried this I would appreciate any feedback. www.clikelite.com I used a similar sized case while backpacking southern England for 3 months with a Nikon Ftn and a 20 mm lens and a 43-86 short zoom this was a seperate "Telephoto" camera case that did not attach to the pack framework as easily. However it did the job but was a bit of a pain with the loose attachment to the backpack so was usually carried across the shoulder. I will also be getting a "rain sleeve" for extra protection mostly for dust and will use a waterproof bag for places like Zion where there is some walking in stream beds. Bill Lewis
