RE: [Digital BW] MIS Full Spectrum Neutral Inks - Absolutely Impr essive
2002-03-08 by Alessandro Pardi
Mike, please, tell us more! I'd suppose the difference would "only" be that the Piezo print is warm and the FS Neutral, well, neutral, but from your post it seems that it's not only a matter of tone... How could it be that it's almost undistinguishable from the FB print? What paper did you use? Alessandro Pardi

My inital reaction was one of excitement. Now a few days later I am more excited than ever. I have a print sitting on bookcase next to a Piezo Print and a selenium toned Ilford Multigrade FB print. The difference is amazing between the Piezo print and the other two. The MIS FS N print and the selenium toned silver print are almost indestinguishible. The silver print is one of Mark Kletts desert images. The MIS FS Neutral inks work as plug and play with the Piezo inks utilizing the Piezo driver or RIP as well as the Colobyte Imageprint 4 RIP. In all honesty, these inks make the best "inkjet" B/W prints I have seen. And many of you know I have seen some incredible images. Mike Michael J.
