do you find the 7500 has an advantage over the 7000 with these inks? The 
consensus on the 9000 vs 9500 is that there is no benefit in using the 9500 
with aftermarket pigment inks. And there are plenty of 7000 users with piezo 
or MIS.

If you researched this, I would be curious as to what you found.

Regardless, congratulations on the move up, you must be very happy to print 
your images that much larger. They would definitely benefit from a larger print.
