Digital BW, The Print

My Epson R3880 started to drip ink onto the prints, not every time but the majority of the time.

I did all the usual, widen the planet gap, cleaned the capping station and wiper blade.

I also noticed the yellow was also becoming contaminated with black and to top it off, although the status monitor reported the PK to have 72% of in in it, it was actually empty.

I managed to cure this by changing the Ink delivery system, sounds complicated but the whole process to about 1 hour. I wrote a small piece on my blog with a few images and my theory as to what had failed.
