Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,

Eagerly opened my very first digest tonight...only to find that half of it
was filled with a heated discussion of a new technology that has about as
much to do with "Digital B&W, The Print" as a heated discussion on the
merits of Kodachrome vs. E-6. While I too am eager to speculate on what the
Foveon chip can and can't do, I'd humbly suggest doing it on the Digital
Camera mailing list where it truly belongs.

And while I'm on the Mailing List Etiquette 101 soapbox, it'd also be doing
the entire list a HUGE favor if everyone took a few seconds to snip the
20-line group guidelines off their replies, thereby reducing the length of
the digests by a good third (it's stated at the beginning anyway).

Now then...anybody ready for a civilized discussion of the fine printing of
digitized black & white images? ;-)
