Jeff,

I just took a look at their site and everything seems to be the same in
regards to Piezo at least.

http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/piezographyBW.html

First time I've heard of these Sundance inks.

Best,

I am a Piezography dealer, and asked them about this for the groups
benefit. This is a quote from them

"Sundance is the company that produces the inks for us. Sundance
inks and the Piezography inks are the same thing. So there is no
real conspiracy. They have always been the producer of our inks.
Hope this helps."

Hope this clears up any questions.

Martin,

not if you look to buy the inks:
http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/piezography-purchase.html

This is definitely a new and startling entry. Jeff is right and I have no clue what
this is about since the prices continue to be sky high!

I don't understand. All they have added is information about who
manufactures the inks. From the PMA website:

Sundance Image Technology Inc
2147 Newcastle Ave
Cardiff By The Sea
CA
92007-1824
Tel: (760) 635-9175
Fax: (760) 635-9176
Principal Business: Manufacturer

Why doesn't somebody just ring them instead of all this twittering?

Antonis,

Ooops! I missed the fine print in there. Well it is interesting that they
have identified their source of inks which I recall in the past was a
closely held secret. Does this signal a change towards concentrating on the
software and letting someone else take care of the inks? If true, probably a
smart move on their part..

pH of quad inks

2002-03-28 by John Brownlow

On the Cone site is says that unlike some of their competitors, the Cone
quad inks are alkaline (pH 9). It claims that other inks (without naming
them) are acidic. Since this would clearly have archival implications, does
anyone have some litmus paper around to check their MIS inks?
