Yahoo Time Lags

Yahoo Time Lags

2002-03-28 by Martin Wesley

In case you have not noticed there have been long and out of sequence time lags in messages getting posted to the list and an even greater lags in out going e-mails to members. This has resulted in newer messages arriving before older messages.

So if what you see in your mail box looks and reads a bit confusing this is the reason. Hopefully they will resolve their difficulties some day.

It's also driving me crazy by jumping from "threaded" to "date"
format on its own. I keep seeing messages highlighted "unread" when I
know I've read them, then I see the format has changed again...

Yahoo is really slipping on the technology front lately...I have no
idea why. Has anyone heard anything?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
