Piezo and MIS inks are compatible. I used to color the yellow position
piezo ink with MIS cyan and magenta inks to get cold tones. Just hook up
the new inks, and run about 20 pages or so of each position ink color
and the new ink will show up. You can also use a syringe, and suck out
the inks from the bottom of the cartridges as much as possible. This
will then require only about a dozen prints before the new inks take effect.

Yahoo

2002-03-30 by benoitml

Just learned this from another list and I encourage everyone to pass
this on to any other Yahoo Groups they belong to. I think this is a
violation of Yahoo's Privacy Policy. I have already sent feedback to
Yahoo complaining. Wonder if they will even reply. Here are the
details.....

Yahoo has changed everyone's "marketing preferences" to "yes" so
everyone will get loads of "offers." I just checked mine and it was
true.

Go to the main YahooGroups page and click on "Account Info" at the top
right. When your account comes up (you will probably have to enter
your password again), scroll down to the e-mail addresses portion and
click on "Edit Your Marketing Preferences" where you will probably
find a check in the `Yes' column by each and every thing. Then go to
the bottom of the page and make sure you uncheck the places where you
give them permission to mail stuff or call you (unless you want them
to, of course). Make your changes and click on "Save Changes."

Hopefully this will help cut down on the amount of spam people get
and more importantly, help keep people from quitting our group

From the marketing preferences page, there is a link to another page with
additional information. It includes this:

-----------------------------begin quote---------------------------------------
In addition, we have reset marketing preferences for some of our users.
If you are one of those users, unless you decide to change these
preferences, you may begin receiving marketing messages from Yahoo! about
ways to enhance your Yahoo! experience, including special offers and new
features.

Yahoo! is notifying users of these changes to marketing preferences via
email. Your new marketing preferences will not take effect until 60 days
after the date the email is sent to you so you have plenty of time to
decide what you want to receive and what you don't. To change your
preferences, go to the Marketing Preferences page.

--------------------------end quote------------------------------------------

This indicates that the change won't happen for a while and that we will
get an email about it. Mine were changed but I haven't seen an email yet.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Did you read the fine print at the bottom of
page? The paragraph that states they will continue to send you stuff
for sixty days anyway? Or do they mean preferences won't take effect
for 60 days? It is a very vaguely worded paragraph, difficult to
interpret what it means...

This is true because my preferences were all set to
receive marketing services and I had turned them all
to off. This is terrible. I am not on other lists so I
can not tell if this is a Black&White problem only or
all of the lists. I think everyone should write Yahoo
to complain. How do we do that?
