FS-N inks

I've been comparing FS-N inks to Cone's Piezo inks today...using both the Epson and Piezo drivers. The FS-N inks are really lovely. They seem to perform almost identically to Cone's inks with the Piezo driver. I'm going to take measurements in the next week from all the step wedges I printed on various papers and post with some comparative images. I also did a test on Concord Rag. I remember Michael K., wondering how the FS-N would work on a warm/ivory paper. The inks are nice...but the overall effect is decidedly cool to the effect with the Piezo inks (and I presume FS inks). The FS-N print is not ugly...it just isn't what you probably had in mind if you reached for concord rag. I'm really looking forward to trying Paul's VM-sepia produced on an ivory paper. I don't like concord rag...I find the coated side texture really mechanical looking. Its my understanding that Brightcube is going to come out with an Ivory version of Eclipse Satine...that might be really nice with sepia toned prints. Robert
