Yes I have noticed it is much slower and I have dedicated 1/2  a gig to it.

| Have you noticed also that photoshop 7 running in system 9 is slower than
molasses?   Like 5 or 10 times slower when saving or using some of

Try running it under classic in OSX...seems fine there.
