Keith,

Call ColorVision. You should at least be able to open the patch file to print.

  Just installed it..

Got it running under PShop 6, Windows 2000..

Shows up properly under the PShop the "automate" menu..

I Choose "Profiler Plus -- RGB"

  then "Create Profile"

  "Load Calibration chart"

  then NADA... nothing.. nichts!

  It never loads the chart...

If I Choose CMYK.. It says "Could not convert the Calibration chart
  image to CMYK mode"...

  AGGHH!!!

  Any ideas?

  Keith

Never had to..

Turned out it was an old bad File Import Format Plug-in..

Was keeping PShop from opening/properly parsing PIC files...

Are you sure thats not Photoshop 7? This is identical to the symptoms that
ProfilerPLUS exhibits under PS7 on Windows. The issue is a bug in Photoshop 6
that would save and open files with the extension .pic as PICT files. This is
corrected in PS7, but the targets in Profiler are labeled as (and searched
for as) .pic, which causes a Photoshop 7 error. The workaround (until the PS7
comparible version if the software is released) is to find the target in the
Horses folder on your harddrive, change the extension to .pct (this requires
viewing it with the "view file extensions" setting turned on) and then
placing it anywhere convenient and opening it yourself, since the software
won't open it for you with the new extension name. For CMYK profiles you
would need to select or define the appropriate CMYK settings, open the RGB
target manually, and use the "convert to CMYK" command in the menu.

The plugin may not have been wrong... it may have had been correct, but in
conflict with Photoshop 6, since PS6 had the wrong linkage for the .pic
extension. Either way, moving up to PS7 will guarantee the same problem, so
until the update comes out, use the method I previously described for PS7.
