Digital BW, The Print

If I wanted to just lay down the cyan ink. How could I do it. There is a
large air bubble in my cyan line. The other lines seem to be OK.

I am using a nomorecarts CIS system on my 1160 using paul's curves.

Lots of interesting replies to your question, but no real answer. 
Just go to www.inksupply.com and look for the purge files. You can 
purge any individual ink, as you want to do, or all of them at once. 
Remember to turn off all color management otherwise you will not be 
printing all cyan. You do not need Photoshop to do this. MIS do tell 
you on their website that a little air in the tubing is normal, in 
fact there has to be a small airspace in the top of the cartridge to 
prevent a syphon type effect which will result in "blobs" of ink 
being printed.

Steve,

Do you own a copy of Adobe Press Ready?  You will be
able to prepare a CMYK file with a color ramp of cyan
only. It will print cyan this way. If you print an RGB
blue through the EPSON software, it will print cyan
and magenta.  If you print a CMYK blue or cyan, it
will still be printed in RGB and will include magenta.
