I talked with Colorbyte this week. They are still working on the VM...I
don't believe its done yet...but when it is...I believe it will require a
software upgrade (not just more profiles)...because the last time I heard it
would involve a slider bar in the driver much like what is supposed to be
the "gray balancer" in the new epson printer drivers (2200/7600/9600). You
will load the VM inks and then be able to range from the cool to the warm
end of the spectrum for that ink set by just moving the slider...so no
applying curves in photoshop will be necessary. The profiles will simply
make sure you are using the optimum ink delivery for a given paper/ink
combination.
