Certainly not easily. The print head itself can be unscrewed but theres a narrow ribbon cable leading into it which is not removable. There is a connector on the other end of the cable which links into the rest of the print carriage. Its seems to me to be a permanent connection, but if you have nothing to lose, then chances are it could be persuaded to come apart. Be aware however that some people say that removing or loosening the parts in the print carriage destroys the alignment of the print head and requires a few hours work by an epson engineer to restore. This might only be the case on the larger models, because I had no such problem the times I've had to get so involved with my 1290. sandy @ www.euphy.co.uk ----- Original Message -----
