While I'm using a Nikon LS-2000 scanner, I've found that I like the scans
done on traditional films best. I've been quite happy with scans from
Plus-x and even Tri-x. Even film I developed when I was a kid in the 1970's
scan very well today. I just like the tonal response and grain pattern of
the traditional films more, even though the kodak c41 films scan with finer
grain.
