spray update

2002-05-20 by Julian Thomas

My usual spray for pigs on glossy/semi glossy has been Ghiant gloss. This
goes on very thinly nad you an build up a smooth coat. The only downside is
that you can feel a distinct difference in texture on the paper where the
images isn't.
Nij gave me a can of Ghiant matte to try (ghiant is a co. that makes spray
under a wide range of names). On epson semi matte and BrightCube semi, this
spray has all the effects of lowering dmax and protecting the image, but you
can't feel or see the spray. A distinct improvement IMO.

Do you mean increasing the dmax? I get a .4 to .5 INCREASE in dmax when I
use Krylon...not a lowering.
