VM for 1290's

VM for 1290's

2002-06-08 by sm7bxd

Hallo,

We are still waiting....

We not living in US/Canada etc and not using 1280's but the "rest of
the world" - the 1290 (220V/50Hz the 1280 for that!) are still
longing for the VM-workflow/curves - for sure!

(Ok! we know the trick using 1280's driver .... but it seems not to
be that simple...some reported hardware troubles...using that one...)

No curves no money for the MIS! Not?
No curves no VM for the rest of the world! Not?
No curves no "VM - B/W Fine Art" for rest of the world! Not?

Ok tried to do them myself - never did it all the way - gave up!

That's it!

Fiat Lux! (Let There be Light!)

RE: [Digital BW] VM for 1290's

Bo,

I'm about done with the 870. So, I may unplug it after next week. If so,
and my 1160 is not back for a couple of weeks, I'll have some time and room
for a 1290 and could make some curves for it IFF ("if an only if") the
Permajet & MIS folks get me a 1290 in that time slot. (I'm told it's sitting
on this side of the pond.) So, things are looking reasonably good for a
couple of weeks from now.

Paul
