Vin, I've never used Brightcube's semi matte paper. I use the ECLIPSE SATINE, a different type. (It isn't satin, it's matte watercolor, one side textured, one side smooth. Never used heavyweight matte either, I use ARCHIVAL matte (Thicker and whiter than the Heavyweight). If you get a perfect print on the Epson ARCHIVAL matte, make a levels adjustment curve in photo shop and take the middle triangle down to 85. This will darken the image just right for the eclipse Satine paper. If Brightcube's semimatte is at all glossy or resin coated looking, I don't think it will print well with the MIS inks. Jerry
