Digital BW, The Print

Suggestion: 

Start with a known working set (Piezotone and Piezography SW)...get used to it and what it can do...try different papers later...but first start with the highest recommended (I suggest Photorag)...try different things such as profiles and paper lever settings and images (all within the one inkset).  

Then...when you are comfortable with the results and feel you are getting the best you can...then and only then add a new variable (MIS inks) if you wish.  

Always best to get one down cold...you will appreciate this later.

  Any help / thoughts from those of you who have already travelled 
  this road is much appreciated.

When you get your Piezo kit there will be a manual on the disk which will
tell you what settings to use in the Epson driver with the Piezo driver.
(This info might be on the Piezo site so you can check there while you
wait.) Once you have these set, just save them as a Custom set. These
settings will work with PiezoTone, MIS-FS, the original Piezo, and MIS-FS
Neutral inks.

In practice because of the differences in hue you will probably wind up
adjusting your images a bit differently for each ink set.
