I've been using a nomorecarts system on my 1270 for aout 6 months. Lately the tubing has been catching under the print heads and the printer stops printing. Perhaps the tubing has stretched out. Has anyone experienced this problem and how have you dealt with it? Thanks in advance. Mike

I don't know if the nomorecarts system provides the Lucite-like brackets to hold the flexible tubing in place. See the 1200/1270 pictures on this page: http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/cfs_photos.html . I am guessing you can order these separately from MIS if your system didn't come with them. The trick (in my experience with an 1160) is to position the tubing in the brackets to allow just enough tubing slack so that the cart assembly can "run" the full track left and right. Check by turning printer off (to check right side) and then manually send the carts to their "refill" position (all the way to the left) to make sure you don't have any excess slack. Doug
